So kitty is sick....

My cat is sick and it sucks.  She is in liver failure.  We are doing our best to turn it around.  

She is currently on 2 antibiotics (both twice a day), a liver stimulant (once a day), an appetite stimulant (once every 3 days), force feedings (4x a day) and 200 ccs sub-q fluids---given under the skin (once a day).  

This is very stressful.  Her mouth is turning yellow now.  But her eyes and belly are still ok.  We had a rough evening and I honestly didn't think she'd make it thru the night.  After giving the fluids she got very wobbly, disoriented and vomited a feed that was 2 hours earlier.  So I didn't give the last feed of the night nor her meds.  Just let her be.  

This morning we found that she had peed relatively close to the cat box in the tub and wasn't so off.  She was back to the way she was the day before.  Still not good, but better than last night.

I'm still debating to take her in today for observation.  I'm having a hard time getting her to take the feedings.  She spits them out.  Yes, cats can spit.  

I really need some intercession from St Francis on this one.  I just want to be told what to do.  Keep trying as she will recover or am I trudging down a path that will end.  I just don't know how long I can keep this up.  I love my Munchkin and want her to get better.  

Adding:  I rook her to the vet.  I feel better she is there.  Someone is watching her all the time.  I kept running up and down the stairs checking on her.  I hope she isn't scared.  She probably is.  But me not being able to fully be here for her isn't good either.
