The not so good blogger

Yep, that's me. I have a blog. I don't use the blog. I just think that I should be using the blog and then don't do anything about it. I suck.

My oldest daughter started kindergarten this week. Well last week was her first day. Kinda. Really, full days don't start til next week. So really I have no idea when her first day was, or will be. Ya, clear as mud!
Thankfully she LOVES it. Can't wait to go all day and eat her lunch there. We have had a few snack issues already tho. Yesterday she had a self frosted cookie the size of her hand. At 10am! Really? I don't even have cookies in the house. And that was there snack? She has also had "fruit snacks". Which to me are just repackaged gummi bears. Candy really. And today was a cup of Apple Jacks cereal. No wonder she was hungry right when she got home at 11. Empty calories. Empty food. Quickly empty stomach.

My middle kiddo, Frankie, starts 3 year old preschool next week. Ya know, the two mornings a week. His teacher has got to be the sweetest nicest most soft spoken good Catholic grandma I have ever met. She has got something else coming to her when she gets the Frakage. He is just a different breed of 3 year old boy. He tips over his kitchen chair AT LEAST twice a day. He has done it so many times for long that he has now perfected the fall from the chair as it tips back and some how lands on his feet. Standing next to the fallen chair. The boy is just crazy.

My baby is just about to turn a year. Making her party invites is tear inducing at every stamp. When did my baby get so big? I'm so not ready for this. She is such a joy. Everyone comments on what a happy baby she is. I hope this happy streak continues forever.

My iCal is looking very colorful these days. Purple for Aili, green for Frankie, blue for "other"....I have a feeling the rainbow of events will just get bigger and brighter over the years.

I can't wait. :)
