yogurt drinks.
Ya know those overly sweet, super expensive yogurt like drinks in the little bottles. Yep. Those. Specifically the Dora ones. I get those as they have less sugar than the Danimals ones.
So, how do I recreate those at home??
I have tried whole milk with strawberry powder flavoring stuff. No go. Spits it right out.
I'm not sure if it's the thickness of the yogurt drink or the flavor?
I have tried mixing a yogurt drink with whole milk with strawberry crap in it. Still a no go.
Any ideas mamas? Help me out here!!
TIA!

Watching for tips, because those yogurt drinks are going to send me to the poor house!
ReplyDeleteWe also went through way too much on Dora yogurt drinks since neither Andrew nor Laura will drink milk. We found out they do like smoothies though, so now every night we have a smoothie. It's not too expensive since we picked/bought at farmers market and froze all the berries last summer when they were in season.
ReplyDeleteIngredients:
milk (the kids don't know this)
bananas
raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, and blueberries
yogurt
kefir
wheat germ
vegetable juice
You can get coupons for those and stock up when they go on sale. I rarely pay more than $1 for a pack after coupons. The Danimals go on sale more often (and usually have $1 coupons) but the Yoplait ones do go occasionally have coupons for that price too. Right now there are 35cent coupons out there-check ebay or thecouponclippers.com for those. Does Schnuck's still double coupons in Springfield?
